£5 million's being thrown at the leisure centre:

I'm sure it'll be a well run project, and the money well spent.

The refurbishment/rebuilding of the leisure centre had been knocking around for years now; if the council had pulled their fingers out sooner, the project would have probably cost a lot less! And if our elected leaders learn from past projects (Town Square/Bell Court), they'll just let the contractors get on with it with the minimum of interference.
