What are everyone's opinion on Scottish independence? Personally, I think the Scots are better off in the Union.

It seems that Alex Salmond comes up with one harebrained gimmick after another - eg 'Scottish financial services will support our economy' (just before RBS came within 3 hours of failing), and 'We'll be part of a Celtic Arc with Ireland, Iceland and Scandinavia' (just before the economies of Ireland & Iceland collapsed)

They'll be asking for a bail out after a few years. I don't believe they've considered it enough-if the majority care.
