Atherstone girl Daniella Fretwell is about to reveal to us the real beauty behind horse riding.

Daniella is one of fifteen Equestriennes who are being photographed wearing little more than their smiles for a 2012 Lady Godiva style calendar, with the intention of raising money for The Myelin Project, a charity which funds research into Multiple Sclerosis and the Leukodystrophies. The girls are being photographed in 12 beautiful locations from Thirsk to Warwickshire, to the shore of the Menai Strait.

Daniella, who has been riding since she was 9 years old, agreed to do the calender shoot after being contacted by the photographer, Andrew Monk, from Bury, in Lancashire.

Andrew has witnessed the devastating effects of MS on his wife Gwen, for whom he cares full time. Gwen was stricken by the disorder eighteen years ago at the age of 32. Andrew has watched a fit, healthy, young woman gradually being forced to come to terms with a fearfully debilitating illness.

See some of the photographs from the shoots, reserve a calendar, which will be available from the end of August, and enter a free caption competition with the chance to win a signed Phil Collins self portrait doodle and a CD with 144 wallpaper images on it of all the Hot To Trot riders at www.hottotrot.org

The last calendar shoot has been done in Bury with Cherie and Hayley, and we expect the calendar to be printed and in the shops within the next few weeks. 61 glossy photos of 16 beautiful horse riders.

If anyone would like to order theirs online please do, at hottotrot.org

The printer isn't charging us to print the calendars so 100% of the price of the calendar goes to The Myelin Project for research.

A little background info:

The Myelin Project is a registered charity, No 1000614. 100% of the price of the calendar will go to the Myelin Project, partly thanks to the printer who is printing them for free. It's available online at HotToTrot.org

I'm an individual who has created the calendar to raise funds for this charity because my wife has had MS for 18 years. We were doing a sponsored walk together to every newspaper office and radio station in England up until last year when Gwen became just too poorly to go on because of the MS. This is my way of keeping the fundraising going.

The calendar is also for sale on ebay, where the funds will be sent direct to the Myelin Project from ebay. Just search ebay for 2012 Hot To Trot calendar.

Regards.
