We would like to bring to your attention to, Project Aim a vocational training centre in Rugby, Warwickshire, that provides leading edge construction industry vocational training for 14-16 year olds and adults.
We specialise in construction training and offer a wide range of courses to meet the needs of all our clients, from those who wish to learn a new DIY skill through to those aiming to gain entry into the construction industry.

The construction industry aims to have a fully qualified workforce by 2010 and Project Aim works actively to support this.

Whether you wish to learn how to tile your bathroom or want to gain a nationally recognised qualification in the construction industry Project Aim can help you achieve your target. There will be "Women Only" courses available in basic DIY, vehicle maintenance and Plumbing.

A training company althougth not based in Warwickshire is offering fully finded contruction trainging exams CSCS test (http://www.learningandskillssolutions.com)

I'm sure they do courses like this at Warwickshire College - at Morton Morrell. My son's ex-girlfriends brother (phew-got that out) is doinga carpentry course there. He's 16. I know they do brick laying as a course.Or I'm pretty sure they do. Anyway, the more the better, all skills are a bonus and if young people can acquire them with a recognised certificate it can only be a positive for all round and the future.
