I'm aware that I've nicked this from my own blog but I feel really strongly about what the media (and his parents) have put him through.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I guess we’re all shocked at the pictures of the eight year old who weighs in at a horrendous 14 stone, but am I the only one who wonders how the hell Sky TV News got into the house to take such close ups of the lad's distress? Oh sure, the parents obviously had something to do with it, but don’t Sky have some sort of responsibility?
And isn’t there a law that says something about images of near naked children and the humiliation thereof?
Reminder: The kid's eight for God's sake, eight.

I think I’d like to register a complaint. Please feel free to join me.

I've not had time to watch the whole article yet, so I haven't seen the pictures mentioned, but it is most definitely in poor taste.

The story is a very serious one, and the blame is on the parents and not the child, he shouldn't need to be humiliated because of his parent's negligence.
