I don't think thats right, if a hawk has been free for nine years it shouldn't be taken back in to captivity.

well, i know where he was this time last year, he was sitting in the tree in my back garden! we spent ages trying to get him down... (he were eyeing up my chickens...)
we notified the police, and all the bird forums - got no response..
