I imagine you all know what the good old US of A has done to it's online gambling community. I'm now worried about the same think happening in the UK. I agree that online gambling in dangerous for those who can't moderate themselves, but to effectively prohibit it across the board is plain unfair!

I like a little go at online poker and blackjack now and again, I put about £40 a month on when the mood takes me. It's a joy to play and I really enjoy doing it, does anyone else think that this is just an over the top reaction?

In any case, it seems that this has mostly come from pressure from Christians and Las Vegas casinos. I do worry about the way US policy is formed sometimes.

I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER dabble in online gambling. I don't even use fruit machines or stick 50p each way on a grand national horse.

The only gamble I ever take is attempting to ride my bicycle around Leamington without getting road rage from inpatient cars users. :yikes:

Optrex, are you from Cheltenham, or do you just visit? I went to university there.
