Is it me or has nearly every single shop in Bell court closed down, or is in the process of closing down? Is this due to the place just not attracting customers, or is it because the rent is too high for the shops?
I've no idea to be honest, but I'd like to know. Someone else mentioned how good Leamington is for shopping, and I wholeheartedly agree. They have a great variety of shops, which we just don't get in Stratford. We are suffering from the problem which a lot of similar towns seem to have. Which is that only the rich corporations can survive, so we end up with exactly the same shops as all these other towns!
Perhaps Bell court needs to be broken down into smaller stores, and the rent decreased.
