Default Fave Stratford Pub?

I'm wondering what everyone considers to be the best bar in Stratford, I go out there a lot and I'm currently enjoying Oscars bar, even if it is a bit small. I hate to sound like an old fart (because I'm not), but I hate going into a bar where the music is so damn loud that you can't hold a decent conversation with anyone.

'Cross Keys' and 'Hole in the wall' are especially guilty of this, why is it necessary to have the music the same volume you'd get in a super club? It doesn't add the atmosphere, in fact it takes away from it!

While I'm ranting, I may as well talk about how much I hate Chicago Rock Cafe. It would be great if I loved to pay £5 to go into bars with extremely overpriced drinks, moody barstaff who never have a clue who's next to be served, forty minute cues to get served, sticky carpets, stinking toilets, etc.
