In a lot of ways, I prefer Warwick to Stratford. The town has a really good feel to it & there's some really good shops, most of which are independant. Stratford is fast becoming a clone town full of tourists (on Monday I had to elbow my way through a group of French students who decided to block the entire pavement & didn't have the sense to get out of anyone's way), whereas Warwick seems to be more for locals.
If & when I can ever afford to buy my own place, Warwick is definately near the top of my list of places to look.
