I saw him at Bedworth Civic Hall once-------he was quite sozzled and fell over when he did his famous kick, they had to lift him off the stage, but he still waved his straw boater to the audience with a very dozy smile on his face--I think that was the funniest bit , but he really was so embarrassingly pathetic.
