I had 3 foot of water round 3 sides of my house last light, luckily the inside of the house is 6 foot higher than the outside so all is well indoors (so far..) I had to wade through it to get in last night, ( 3 times cos I had to carry the dogs
) I had all the cars trying to get through the floods outside for entertainment, so that helped. I put my hand on the bridge, and I could feel the vibrations of lord knows what banging under it as it went under, which was odd...
The garden is pretty trashed, had three sheds underwater, that will give me something to do tomorrow
I found the beer garden type table down the other end of the garden this morning when the water subsided! I have gained a load of firewood, A broken wardrobe, and a funny smell... could be worse.
