It looks to me like Blair's already decided road pricing's already going ahead; it just hasn't been decided how it will operate.
All that spiel about investing in public transport is a load of rubbish. I don't mind getting the bus; it's just that the service is inconvenient; most of the buses are past their prime (dirty, smelly & full of fumes) & started getting expensive when the County Council decided to cut the subsisies a couple of years ago.
