'Cross Keys' and 'Hole in the wall' are especially guilty of this, why is it necessary to have the music the same volume you'd get in a super club? It doesn't add the atmosphere, in fact it takes away from it!

While I'm ranting, I may as well talk about how much I hate Chicago Rock Cafe. It would be great if I loved to pay £5 to go into bars with extremely overpriced drinks, moody barstaff who never have a clue who's next to be served, forty minute cues to get served, sticky carpets, stinking toilets, etc.
Chicago Rock is a horrible place. All those chain bars are grim - Chicago Rock is particularly bad.
