What's it all about?

As the owner and creator of the site (Will Shaylor). My Vision for Warwickshire Online has been to create an Online Community and Voice for residents of it's districts. To share knowledge, meet people from the same area they live in, and find similar interests. As well as that I'd like the community to become a significant unified voice, which can be taken note of by our local councils, as a productive and positive community, who's opinion is worth taking note of.

To help create a good atmosphere, the site is moderated by myself and other volunteers. This we do to prevent offencive remarks or material being left on our forum, and we have the power to remove anyone who refuses to behave. We do though have a policy of making as few rules as possible, in order to stop people feeling like they're being dictated to. It's important to me that this service is offered for free, and will always remain that way. It's my hope that as the site grows, local businesses will take advantage by sponsoring the site.

My e-mail box is always open, and members and non-members are always welcome to send me feedback or ask any questions they like about the site. Or members can use our suggestions & feedback section.

Forum - The forum is the main focus of the site. The idea of the forum is to allow people from Warwickshire to chat about anything warwickshire Related they like. Some of the larger towns in Warwickshire have been given their own sub-forums to chat in. As the forum grows we will add more sub-forums for other settlements in Warwickshire. You can talk about anything from local events, sports, history, going out; etc., to just getting to meet people from your area. You can customise many aspects of your forum experience, and you'll have fun creating your own unique profile.
